LIGHT IN A DARK AND CONFUSED WORLD

DAY 29 — LIGHT IN A DARK AND CONFUSED WORLD

Scripture
Matthew 5:14–16
Philippians 2:15
Ephesians 5:8

Reflection
We live in a culture filled with confusion, contradiction, and moral uncertainty.

In the middle of that, Jesus gives a clear identity:

“You are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14)

Light does not argue—it shines.

Paul describes believers as those who “shine as lights in the world” (Philippians 2:15).

This is not about being louder than culture—but being different from it.

Before Christ, we were in darkness. Now we are light (Ephesians 5:8).

That means our lives should bring clarity where there is confusion and hope where there is despair.

Application
Does my life reflect Christ clearly in a confused world?

Prayer
Lord, let my life reflect Your light in everything I do.
