Reflection
We often pray for growth, but avoid the process that produces it.

Scripture shows that trials are not meaningless interruptions—they are refining tools.

“The testing of your faith produces steadfastness.” (James 1:3)

Pressure does not destroy genuine faith—it reveals and strengthens it.

Peter compares it to gold refined by fire (1 Peter 1:7). Fire does not create gold—it reveals purity.

Paul explains the process:

“Suffering produces endurance… character… hope.” (Romans 5:3–4)

God is not absent in difficulty—He is forming something within it.

How has God used difficulty to grow my faith?

Lord, use every trial to strengthen and refine my faith.
