DAY 20 — LIVING WITH ETERNAL FOCUS IN A TEMPORARY WORLD

Reflection
We live in a world obsessed with temporary things:
success
possessions
attention
comfort
status

But Scripture constantly reorients our focus.

“We look not to the things that are seen but to the unseen…” (2 Corinthians 4:18)

Jesus warns:

“Do not store up treasures on earth…” (Matthew 6:19)

Earthly things are real—but temporary.

God has placed eternity in the human heart (Ecclesiastes 3:11), meaning nothing temporary fully satisfies us.

The narrow path is lived with eternity in view.

Application
Am I living for what is temporary or what is eternal?

Prayer
Lord, fix my eyes on eternity. Help me live with eternal purpose every day.
