Peace That Produces Righteousness
Day 25 — Peace That Produces Righteousness
Scripture:
“And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” — James 3:18
Reflection:
In Epistle of James 3, James contrasts worldly wisdom with godly wisdom.
Worldly wisdom is full of jealousy and selfish ambition (James 3:14–16).
Godly wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, open to reason (James 3:17).
Discipleship is shaped by peace.
Peace is not weakness. It is strength under control.
Romans 12:18 says, “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.”
Peacemakers reflect the heart of Christ. Jesus is called the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
When disciples bring peace into conflict, righteousness grows.
Observation:
• Godly wisdom produces peace.
• Peace leads to a harvest of righteousness.
• Peacemaking reflects maturity.
Life Application:
Do you escalate conflict — or calm it?
Do your reactions bring peace into tense moments?
Discipleship produces steady, calming presence.
Prayer Prompt:
Lord, make me a peacemaker in every situation.
Action Step:
When tension rises today, respond slowly and gently.
