Follow My Example
Day 24 — Follow My Example
Scripture:
“Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 11:1
Reflection:
In First Epistle to the Corinthians 11, Paul tells believers to follow his example — but only as he follows Christ.
This is powerful.
Discipleship is lived out in front of others.
People learn not just from what we say, but from what we do.
Children watch.
Students watch.
Coworkers watch.
Church members watch.
Paul knew that his life pointed somewhere. He made sure it pointed to Jesus.
Philippians 3:17 also encourages believers to observe faithful examples.
We all imitate someone.
The question is: Who are you pointing others toward?
Observation:
• Paul followed Christ first.
• Healthy disciples model obedience.
• Example is a powerful teacher.
Life Application:
If someone copied your life, would it lead them closer to Jesus?
Where do you need to grow so your example is clearer?
Discipleship becomes strong when life matches teaching.
Prayer Prompt:
Father, make my life a clear example of Christ.
Action Step:
Ask a trusted friend if your life reflects what you claim to believe.
