Love Is the Proof
Day 20 — Love Is the Proof
Scripture:
“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” — John 13:35
Reflection:
In Gospel of John 13, Jesus washes the disciples’ feet. Then He gives a new command: love one another as I have loved you (John 13:34).
Notice what He says next.
The world will recognize disciples not by their knowledge, not by their influence, but by their love.
Love is the evidence.
1 Corinthians 13:1 says that without love, even great gifts mean nothing.
Love is patient.
Love is kind.
Love does not keep score.
Discipleship is not cold truth. It is truth wrapped in love.
If our lives lack love, something is missing at the center.
Observation:
• Love is visible evidence of discipleship.
• Jesus defines love by His own example.
• Love reflects God’s nature (1 John 4:8).
Life Application:
Do people experience love when they interact with you?
Is your tone marked by grace?
Discipleship becomes real when love becomes normal.
Prayer Prompt:
Lord, fill my heart with Your love so others see You in me.
Action Step:
Show intentional kindness to someone difficult today.
