Faithful in Small Things
Day 19 — Faithful in Small Things
Scripture:
“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much.” — Luke 16:10
Reflection:
In Gospel of Luke 16, Jesus teaches that small things matter. Before He speaks about larger responsibilities, He speaks about faithfulness in little things.
The world celebrates big moments.
God watches daily obedience.
David was faithful as a shepherd before he became king (1 Samuel 16:11–13).
Joseph was faithful in prison before he led Egypt (Genesis 39:21–23).
Faithfulness in private prepares us for influence in public.
Discipleship is not proven in crowds. It is proven in quiet choices.
When no one sees, God sees.
When no one applauds, heaven notices.
Small acts of obedience build strong character.
Observation:
• Faithfulness begins with little things.
• God often tests trust in small assignments first.
• Consistency reveals true maturity.
Life Application:
Are you waiting for something bigger before you take obedience seriously?
Where can you be more faithful right now — in speech, attitude, responsibility?
Discipleship grows one small act at a time.
Prayer Prompt:
Father, help me be faithful in the small things today.
Action Step:
Choose one small responsibility you usually overlook. Do it carefully and with joy.
