Bearing With One Another

Day 42: Bearing With One Another

Scripture:
“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” — Colossians 3:13 (NIV)

Reflection:
Growth is relational. Spiritual maturity includes bearing with others' imperfections. Forgiveness releases both the offender and you from the burden of resentment.

Forgiveness models God’s grace, builds unity, and strengthens the body of Christ.

Observation:
Forgiveness is central to growth.
Resentment hinders maturity.
Love expresses God’s grace tangibly.

Life Application:
Who do you need to forgive today? Forgiveness is an act of obedience, not feeling.

Scripture Connections:
Matthew 18:21-22 – “…I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
Ephesians 4:32 – “…forgive each other as in Christ God forgave you.”

Prayer Prompt:
Lord, teach me to forgive others as You have forgiven me. Free me from bitterness.

Action Step:
Pray specifically for someone you struggle to forgive and take one step toward reconciliation.
