HEARING TRUTH IS NOT ENOUGH

DAY 25 — HEARING TRUTH IS NOT ENOUGH

Scripture
James 1:22
Luke 6:46
Matthew 7:24

Reflection
In today’s world, access to truth has never been easier:
sermons, podcasts, Bible apps, and teachings available instantly.

But exposure to truth is not the same as transformation.

“Be doers of the word, and not hearers only…” (James 1:22)

Hearing without obedience creates self-deception.

Jesus asks directly:

“Why do you call Me ‘Lord’ and do not do what I say?” (Luke 6:46)

Truth not applied becomes information, not transformation.

The wise builder is not the one who hears more, but the one who obeys more.

“He who hears these words of Mine and does them…” (Matthew 7:24)

Storms reveal foundations—not knowledge.

Application
Where am I hearing the truth but not applying it?

Prayer
Lord, make me a doer of Your Word, not just a hearer.
