GOD SPEAKS IN STILLNESS

DAY 24 — GOD SPEAKS IN STILLNESS

Scripture
Psalm 46:10
1 Kings 19:11–12
Isaiah 30:15

Reflection
We live in one of the loudest generations in history—constant notifications, endless content, nonstop opinions.

Yet Scripture reveals something powerful: God is often heard most clearly in stillness.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

Stillness is not emptiness—it is attention.

Elijah expected God in dramatic displays, but God spoke in a gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:12).

This reveals a spiritual truth: noise often drowns clarity.

Isaiah reinforces it:

“In quietness and trust shall be your strength…” (Isaiah 30:15)

Many believers are spiritually exhausted not because God is silent—but because life is too loud.

Application
Have I created space in my life to actually hear from God?

Prayer
Lord, quiet my inner and outer noise so I can hear Your voice clearly.
