True Humility

Day 28 — True Humility

Scripture:

“Do nothing from selfish ambition… but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” — Philippians 2:3

Reflection:

In Epistle to the Philippians 2, Paul points to Jesus as the example of humility.

Though He was in the form of God, He humbled Himself (Philippians 2:6–8).

Humility is not thinking less of yourself. It is thinking of yourself less.

Discipleship reduces pride and increases service.

Pride demands attention.

Humility serves quietly.

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).

Observation:

• Jesus modeled humility.

• Humility leads to unity.

• Grace flows to the humble.

Life Application:

Where does pride still show up?

Discipleship grows when humility increases.

Prayer Prompt:

Jesus, teach me to walk in humility like You.

Action Step:

Put someone else’s needs ahead of your own today.
