Bearing Fruit
Day 16 — Bearing Fruit
Scripture:
“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” — John 15:8
Reflection:
In Gospel of John 15, Jesus connects fruit to discipleship. Fruit is visible evidence of inner life.
Galatians 5:22–23 describes the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Fruit is not forced. It grows.
An apple tree does not strain to produce apples. It stays rooted and healthy — and fruit comes.
When we stay connected to Christ, fruit appears in our character.
People may not first notice your Bible knowledge. But they will notice your patience. They will notice your kindness. They will notice your peace in hard times.
Fruit glorifies God. It shows that He is at work.
Observation:
• Fruit brings glory to the Father.
• Fruit proves discipleship.
• The Spirit produces fruit (Galatians 5:22).
Life Application:
Is your life showing spiritual fruit?
Has growth become visible in your character?
Discipleship is not hidden. It shows up in how we live.
Prayer Prompt:
Father, grow Your fruit in my life. Make my character reflect You.
Action Step:
Choose one fruit of the Spirit and practice it intentionally today.
