Led by the Spirit

Day 14 — Led by the Spirit

Scripture:

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.” — John 16:13

Reflection:

In Gospel of John 16, Jesus prepares His disciples for His departure. He promises the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit guides.

The Spirit teaches.

The Spirit reminds (John 14:26).

Discipleship is not self-powered.

Romans 8:14 says, “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”

The Spirit convicts us when we are wrong.

He comforts us when we are weak.

He strengthens us to obey.

Without the Spirit, discipleship becomes dry effort. With the Spirit, obedience becomes joyful surrender.

Observation:

• The Spirit guides into truth.

• The Spirit empowers obedience (Ezekiel 36:27).

• Being led by the Spirit shows belonging to God (Romans 8:14).

Life Application:

Are you relying on effort alone?

Do you pause and ask the Spirit for guidance?

Discipleship grows when we listen and respond to the Spirit’s leading.

Prayer Prompt:

Holy Spirit, lead me today. Make my heart sensitive to Your voice.

Action Step:

Before making a decision today, pause and pray, “Spirit of God, guide me.”
