Day 16: A Different Kind of Life

Scripture:
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” — John 10:10 (NIV)

Reflection:
Jesus did not come to help you manage life better.

He came to give you a different kind of life entirely.

Not just improved…
Not just optimized…
But transformed.

The life most people live is reactive—driven by circumstances, emotions, and external conditions.

It rises and falls with what happens.

But the life Jesus offers is not dependent on what happens around you.

It is anchored in something deeper.

Fullness does not mean everything goes right.
It means something within you is no longer empty.

It means peace that is not tied to outcomes.
Purpose that is not tied to performance.
Stability that is not shaken by change.

This is not a future promise alone—it is a present reality.

But it requires a shift:

From trying to build your own life…
To receiving the life He gives.

Observation:
Jesus offers a different kind of life—not just improvement.
Fullness is internal, not circumstantial.
True life is received, not constructed.

Life Application:
Are you trying to improve your life—or receive the life Jesus offers?

Lord, help me stop striving to build my own life and start receiving the life You offer.
