Day 7 – From Bitterness to Hope: Choosing God’s Perspective

“When Naomi arrived in Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred because of her, and the women exclaimed, ‘Can this be Naomi?’ She told them, ‘Don’t call me Naomi. Call me Mara, because the Almighty has made my life very bitter. I went away full, but the Lord has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi? She focuses on what she lost, seeing emptiness, yet God was orchestrating relationships and events that would bring redemption. Bitterness blinds us to God’s hand, but faith shifts our perspective toward hope and restoration.
