Guarding What Has Changed
Day 53: Guarding What Has Changed
Scripture:
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)
Reflection:
Change is powerful.
But it is also vulnerable.
What God has begun in you must be protected.
Because not every influence will reinforce your growth.
Some environments pull you backward.
Some voices create doubt.
Some habits quietly reintroduce old patterns.
Guarding your heart is not isolation.
It is intentional alignment.
You choose what you allow to shape you.
Because what shapes your heart… shapes your life.
Observation:
Growth must be protected.
Influence shapes direction.
Intentionality sustains transformation.
Life Application:
What do you need to guard against to protect your growth?
Scripture Connections:
1 Corinthians 15:33 – “Bad company corrupts…”
Colossians 2:8 – “See to it that no one takes you captive…”
Psalm 119:11 – “I have hidden your word…”
Prayer Prompt:
Lord, help me guard what You are building in me.
Action Step:
Remove or limit one influence that is pulling you backward.
