Day 48: Humility Protects Influence

Scripture:
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” — James 4:6 (NIV)

Reflection:
Influence can build you—or it can expose you.

Because as your impact grows, so does the temptation toward pride.

To believe it’s about you.
To rely on your own strength.
To seek recognition.

But pride destabilizes everything God is building.

Humility keeps you grounded.

It reminds you:

This is God’s work.
This is God’s strength.
This is God’s purpose.

And when you stay humble, you remain aligned.

Observation:
Pride weakens influence.
Humility sustains alignment.
Dependence on God protects growth.

Where might pride be subtly influencing your thinking?
