When Progress Feels Slow
Day 31: When Progress Feels Slow
Scripture:
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
Reflection:
One of the greatest threats to lasting change is discouragement.
Not because nothing is happening…
But because it doesn’t feel like enough is happening.
You expected faster growth.
Quicker results.
Clearer breakthroughs.
But transformation rarely feels dramatic—it feels gradual.
And in that space, it’s easy to question:
Is this even working?
Galatians reminds us: there is a harvest.
But it comes in time, not on demand.
Growth is happening beneath the surface long before it becomes visible.
Roots develop before fruit appears.
Don’t let what you don’t see yet cause you to abandon what God is doing.
Observation:
Transformation often feels slower than expected.
Discouragement can interrupt growth.
Consistency leads to eventual fruit.
Life Application:
Where are you tempted to give up because progress feels slow?
Scripture Connections:
James 5:7 – “See how the farmer waits…”
Hebrews 10:36 – “You need to persevere…”
Psalm 27:14 – “Wait for the Lord…”
Prayer Prompt:
Lord, give me endurance. Help me trust Your timing even when I don’t see immediate results.
Action Step:
Commit to one area of consistency today—even if it feels small.
