Walking by the Spirit

Day 27: Walking by the Spirit

Scripture:
“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” — Galatians 5:16 (NIV)

Reflection:
Freedom is not sustained by willpower.

It is sustained by dependence.

Trying harder may work temporarily—but it will not produce lasting change.

Because the battle is not just external—it is internal.

And the Spirit of God is not just present to help you occasionally.

He is present to lead you continually.

Walking by the Spirit means:

Listening.
Responding.
Yielding.

Moment by moment.

It is not about perfection—it is about direction.

And the more you walk in step with the Spirit, the less control old patterns have.

Observation:
Willpower is limited; dependence is essential.
The Spirit leads ongoing transformation.
Direction matters more than perfection.

Life Application:
Are you trying to maintain change through effort alone—or through dependence on the Spirit?
