You Cannot Have Peace Without Grace
Day 3: You Cannot Have Peace Without Grace
Scripture:
“Grace and peace to you from God our Father.” — Colossians 1:2 (NIV)
Reflection:
Paul’s greeting is intentional: grace comes before peace.
This is not just a formality—it is a spiritual principle. You cannot experience true peace until you understand and receive God’s grace.
Many people are chasing peace:
through control
through success
through avoiding conflict
But peace does not come from circumstances—it comes from being right with God.
Grace reminds you:
You are forgiven
You are accepted
You are not earning God’s love
When that truth settles in your heart, peace follows.
If you are anxious, restless, or striving, the issue may not be your situation—it may be that you have not fully embraced God’s grace.
Observation:
Grace is the foundation; peace is the result.
Peace is not circumstantial—it is spiritual.
Striving disrupts peace; grace restores it.
Life Application:
Are you striving for approval or resting in grace?
Scripture Connections:
Romans 5:1 – “We have peace with God…”
2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient…”
Isaiah 26:3 – “You will keep in perfect peace…”
Prayer Prompt:
Lord, help me to rest in Your grace so I can walk in Your peace.
Action Step:
Identify one area where you are striving. Release it and trust God fully.
