Alive in Christ

Day 24: Alive in Christ

Scripture:
“…you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins…” — Colossians 2:13 (NIV)

Reflection:
Growth begins with recognizing the new life in Christ. Spiritual death is universal, but resurrection is personal. Forgiveness is not only past-oriented—it empowers present obedience.

Being alive in Christ produces:

  • Freedom from guilt and shame

  • Motivation to live righteously

  • Joy in God’s presence

True growth begins when you live as one who is forgiven and empowered, not one who is condemned or striving in vain.

Observation:
Forgiveness precedes transformation.
New life produces obedience.
Spiritual growth flows from grace, not effort alone.

Life Application:
Where do you still feel spiritually dead or powerless? Claim life in Christ today.

Scripture Connections:
Ephesians 2:4-5 – “…even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive with Christ.”
Romans 6:4 – “…walk in newness of life.”

Prayer Prompt:
Lord, thank You for making me alive in Christ. Help me live out the new life You’ve given me.

Action Step:
Write down three ways you can express your new life in Christ this week—through words, actions, or service.
