Growing in Knowledge and Strength

Day 13: Growing in Knowledge and Strength

Scripture:
“…growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might…” — Colossians 1:10b-11a (NIV)

Reflection:
Spiritual growth is cumulative: knowledge leads to strength, and strength fuels endurance. God’s power is not abstract—it strengthens your character, enables victory over sin, and equips you for every challenge.

Growth requires:

  • Learning God’s Word

  • Applying it daily

  • Trusting His strength in weakness

Without God’s power, knowledge can lead to pride. With His power, knowledge transforms life.

Observation:
Knowledge fuels growth; power enables it.
Strength comes from dependence on God.
Glory is revealed through God’s might, not human effort.

Life Application:
Where do you rely on your own strength instead of God’s? Let His power guide your growth.

Scripture Connections:
Ephesians 3:16 – “…be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being.”
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Prayer Prompt:
Lord, strengthen me with Your glorious power to grow in knowledge, faith, and endurance.

Action Step:
Identify one area where you need God’s strength this week and intentionally rely on Him in prayer and action.
