Renewed Hope
Day 11 – Renewed Hope
Scripture Focus: Romans 15:13 (KJV)
How God Renews Our Hope
1. Hope Flows from God’s Character
Biblical hope is not optimism—it is confident expectation rooted in who God is. When hope fades, focus has shifted from God’s faithfulness to human limitation.
Hope is sustained not by circumstances improving, but by remembering God remains unchanging.
“The Lord is good unto them that wait for him.” (Lamentations 3:25)
2. Disappointment Attempts to Redefine Expectations
Unprocessed disappointment quietly lowers expectations. Renewal of hope requires reclaiming trust in God’s promises, even when timelines disappoint.
God’s delays are not denials—they are preparation.
3. Belief Is the Channel of Hope
Scripture ties hope directly to believing. Faith fuels hope, and the Holy Spirit sustains it beyond emotional strength.
“…through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
4. Hope Strengthens Endurance
Hope gives strength to persevere when answers feel slow. It keeps the heart anchored while waiting.
